| The Woman's Club of Chevy Chase is available for rent
for both public
and private events. The main auditorium
has a full size stage
and room
for dining and dancing as well as a professional full-service kitchen
for even the most demanding caterer. The main auditorium has 3500
square feet of space. The dimensions are 50 feet in width by 70 feet in
depth. The stage dimensions are 19 feet deep by 23 feet wide for a
total of 437 additional square feet of area and is elevated about 3
feet above the main floor with front and back staircase access, stage
lighting and a private dressing room. The stage can accommodate either
a live band or a DJ. There is a mid sized grand piano on the stage and
a small upright piano in the auditorium.
Note: The grand piano CAN NOT
be removed from the stage, however it can be moved off to the side and
put out of sight if not needed. There are a total of five
restrooms in the clubhouse. The clubhouse also has a smaller South Wing
area for small events, or for extra space for larger events. The South
Wing dimensions are 23 feet wide by 28 feet deep for a total of 644
square feet of space. You still have the option of using the kitchen
even if you only rent the smaller South Wing area. The main auditorium
can accommodate a sit-down dinner for up to 200 people with dancing, or
250 without dancing. The South Wing holds about 50 people. There are
three French doors off to the side of
the main auditorium leading to an
outdoor patio
and garden area. There is a separate
back entrance with a
loading zone for access to the
kitchen without disturbing the guests.
If needed, the club can provide folding chairs and tables as part of
the rental. The Club has a private parking lot with 90 spaces
and a
convenient rear entrance into the clubhouse
